In 2014 SGLH succeeded in securing funds in excess of £70,000 for two recording projects in the Clyde and Avon Valley and in Falkirk.
These projects will each run for three years and are pilots for a more ambitious project to embrace the whole of Scotland. The Clyde and Avon Valley project is being funded jointly by the Clyde and Avon Valley Landscape Partnership under the auspices of the Heritage Lottery Fund and by Historic Scotland. Funds for the Falkirk project are being provided exclusively by Historic Scotland.
A competitive tendering process led to the selection of Northlight Heritage to run both projects under the supervision of SGLH. Look out for regular updates on our News section.
